Ok so while I have two places to read the longer versions of this, one being my public blog, the other my private/friends only LJ, here's what happened.

So during August while I was away in Australia visiting Jamie, someone disgustingly unmentionable* resurfaced from last year and well it's turned into a massive family/life drama. I really can't go further into it other than the fact it is a continued source of stress. It also didn't help that I was lied to about it until nearly the end of my stay in Australia.

*(seriously this all went down 1 year ago, most of my close friends, know about the whole story, who the person is, the police actions taken last year and the current sit)


Also while in Australia, an issue with Grant money came up. Most of you, by now, know that I'm attending the Academy of Arts in San Francisco for my BoF in Illustration, focusing on their Comics division and Illustration for books. I had been awarded a very nice grant to pay for Fall and Spring Semester. Much to my shock and horror, the way the Grant money was divided between those two semesters left me with an unexpected amount to shell out for the Fall, and thankfully this won't be a repeat in the spring. I already struggle as it is to pay for my regular expenses (rent, internet, food and so on) so this unexpected amount left me with only a few options in cutting back to pay this amount, one of which was to terminate my phone. So sadly to those who had tried to stay in contact with me, I deeply apologize but I had to get rid of as many things I felt I could live without and since I have skype and such well it seemed like the best option.

Basically these two major incidents,there's are some smaller ones but they are really insignificant, ended up in a massive silence for me with basically everything. I really am sorry that it ended up like this and I feel that some things are going to take some more time in fixing and getting past more than others. In the mean time I really must ask everyone to bare with me and please be patient.

Still there are lots of good things
I'm still with my wonderful and supportive Jamie
I'm working very hard to do well in my classes at the academy
I really can't wait till Winter break comes, Hopefully with that massive break I can take the time and actually have a social life before classes start up ( I'll be taking Perspective, Digital Media II, and Comic Book Penciling next year) I want to do some sort of Christmas party or at least go and have tea with my friends and do some serious catching up.
I'm getting ready to open some super cheap commissions
I'm catching up on and getting back into reading and watching more manga and anime, god it feels like it's been a while.

Again I'm really really sorry for the silence, and I'll try my best to do better. Hopefully my next Journal post wont be so drama and downer filled. Please be patient and take care of me guys!
